Natalie's Killer Cuisine

If the food blogging world was High School then I would be the dorky outcast with braces and The Pioneer Woman would be the popular cheerleader.

Her blog is what every blog wants to be.
I mean seriously, if you haven’t checked it out, do it.

Her recipes are demonstrated better than any cooking show or cookbook that I have ever seen. She takes a picture of every single step, so any question you could have about the recipe you can probably answer yourself by just following the pictures.

And the pictures are beautiful. Every single one. Even the picture off all the ingredients is beautiful. Kind of like that cheerleader again. The cheerleaders picture in the year book is beautiful and flawless, while mine is dorky and uncomfortable.

Enough brown nosing.

For this month’s FBI challenge we investigated The Pioneer Woman Cooks. I was really excited about this because as much as I have looked at the site, I have never made any of her recipes.

Kyles loves any chocolate – peanut butter combination so when I saw the recent Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie she made, I knew that was the recipe I would be making. And good thing I did. It was delicious. The filling was so smooth, rich and creamy, while still being light (which means you can easily eat 2 to 3 slices before you realize it). This recipe is a keeper and I can’t wait to make it at the next family gathering, which is exactly where I think the Pioneer Woman would want her recipe displayed…
