Anytime I would see a pretty flower we would stop. Open the camera bag. Put on the lens. Take the picture. Take off the lens. Pack up the camera bag. Then go on our way!

Flowers

When I was in San Francisco I took over 900 pictures. And around a hundred of them were of flowers.

OMG, you're too cute! Just snooping (???) through your pics, and the top "flower" is actually a dandelion after it has bloomed. Those little fuzzes will go flying in the wind, giving many, many more dandelion plants. :)

Hi Natalie, The red flower I think you were wondering about is called bottlebrush (Callistemon). It is an evergreen shrub, native to Australia; but grows well here in California. We have some in our yard and they are often planted along the freeways. I like your photos & your recipes are over the top. Can't wait to try Kale chips and cashew cookies. Yum!!!!
