This is my new favorite Lemonade recipe. It’s so good and tastes like it is full of sugar and sunshine. This really isn’t a recipe as it involves 3 ingredients, but more or less introducing you to one of my new favorite sugar replacements. I could drink 10 glasses a day in the summer of fresh, sweet lemonade, so this version is perfect for me as it has no calories.

I told you in the Vegan Energy Bar post that I received some samples of different kinds of stevia products from NuNaturals. I used the baking blend in the bars, and this time I am using the white stevia powder.

Kyle works in a kitchen so when it comes to beverages, he has to get creative. He always brings an energy drink and Gatorade to work, but after a few hours dinner service has started and he has no drink choices except the tap water. Well, after years of this he has started to get creative. He drinks out a deli cup and squirts a little bit of lemon juice in it, pours some water on top, and usually adds regular sugar. Lemonade, the quick and easy way.

Well when I showed him all the stevia products the first thing he did was pull a lemon out of the fridge and a tall glass. I wondered why he would think to make lemonade, but that was until I tried it. It tasted so good! When sweetening drinks like iced tea, I usually use sweet n’ low. But after trying this white stevia powder, I will probably carry a few in my purse. They taste like actual sugar, without that artificial tartness, which is probably why the packs say ‘non bitter’.

If you have never tried white stevia powder to sweeten drinks, you should give it a try.

I’ll have to try it. I love lemonade but can drink 300-500 calories worth easy. Stevia seems pretty safe and natural so I’m all for it!

MMMm Lemonade is exactly what needs to be happening in my kitchen right now — I really like the vintage feel of the pictures too. Beautimus natalie!
